Apple Health fitness access
In SOLE, open Settings and choose Request Apple Health Access. In Apple's permission sheet, allow Steps, Walking + Running Distance and Workouts.
To review an existing choice, open the Health app → profile picture → Apps and Services → SOLE. Apple controls this screen; SOLE cannot change permissions without your action.
Logging a wear
Tap the central + button, choose a pair and select the start and end of the wear period. SOLE displays the fitness activity it can read for those hours. Review the steps and distance, make an optional manual adjustment, then save to wear history.
For running shoes, you can also select an indoor or outdoor workout from Apple Health, or enter the distance manually.
Collection and photos
Use the + button on Collection to add a pair. Photos remain in SOLE's local app storage. If you delete the app without a restorable device backup, BTN GROUP cannot recover the collection.
Wear targets
Wear percentage is optional under Settings → Wear display. When enabled, SOLE uses default targets of 600 km for running shoes and 800,000 steps for lifestyle pairs. Edit any pair to choose your own distance, step or total-wears target.
Widget and notifications
After adding a pair, add the SOLE widget from the iOS Home Screen widget gallery. If it looks stale, open SOLE once to refresh the recommendation. Rotation notifications are local and can be controlled in SOLE Settings and iOS notification settings.
